Jacqueline Fales is from Old Tappan, New Jersey. She is a Sociology major, with a minor in Writing. Jacqueline is also enrolled in the 5-year teaching master’s program at Lehigh University. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and running. Jacqueline’s role as a Youth Representative and Assistant Research Intern for Nor Luyce has thus far been an enlightening experience, as she has learned so much about the mentors, mentees, and the program itself.. Through conducting research, she has learned how an effective mentoring program operates and she has helped put together surveys to examine other aspects of the mentee’s lives, like bullying and safety. Jacqueline is devoted to continue to learn how to empower other women, and to learn other ways in which she can make an impact upon the young women participating in Nor Luyce program. Growing up in an Armenian Family, she has previously visited Armenia, where the program is based, and hopes to one day also meet the young women enrolled in the program, face to face.
